Abobe Photoshop: Coral Study
This project involved studying the microscopic structures of a brain coral specimen. After deciding how to artistically represent the different textures by emphasizing or deemphasizing features, the coral textures were hand drawn on bristol board. They were then photographed and digitally arranged in Adobe Photoshop to create the final poster.

Crystal Research and Structure
After thorough research of the development of amethyst crystals, several types of models and artist renderings were created to explore the inside and outside of the crystal. Studies were done in pencil, gouache, paper models, and watercolor.

Wire Model Oribi Skull
From a 3d digital model of an oribi skull, I drafted sketches of the skull. These sketches were then used to construct a wire model of the skull which is helpful to conceptualize what a final product might look like in line form.

Watercolor Children’s Book Illustration
This adorable farm duo plunged underwater to explore marine creatures for this children’s book mock up. This illustration was done in watercolor on 11×14 cold press paper.
